The compacity of the Formex® matrix maximizes its compressive strength(up to 200 MPa) and its low porosity minimize the permeability and the chemical corrosion.

Formex® is specially suitable for structures submitted to extreme climatologic conditions, frequent contact with sea water or humid environments.

Formex® is lighter, freer, and more moldable. It allows thiner and ligther structures, larger spans and improved surfaces compared to ordinary concretes.

SUSTANABILITY

Formex® structures allow a reduction of material used between a 50% and a 75% of an ordinary concrete structure.

This, together with the larger lifespan of the Formex® elements, implies that these solutions have much lower environmental impact and carbon footprint than the current solutions.
