At PREFFOR we design and manufacture precast solutions using Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) that are transforming the way port docks are built. By using precast UHPC beams, slab and parapets, we create a permanent formwork that not only reduces the need for heavy machinery and on-site work but also guarantees long-lasting performance. This protective “shell” ensures resistance to cracking and corrosion, guaranteeing a service life of more than 100 years.

PREFFOR has already applied this technology in landmark projects, such as the construction of an artificial island in the Port of Alicante (2023) and a new dock in the Port of Cartagena (2024).
